Kenny Lattimore and Judge Faith Jenkins Are Expecting a Baby Boy
Kenny Lattimore and Judge Faith Jenkins are expecting their second child together, a baby boy sometime this Month. The couple, who married in 2020 and welcomed their daughter Skylar in early 2023, first shared the pregnancy news ahead of Mother’s Day before confirming the baby’s sex in a gender reveal posted on May 15th.
Judge Faith announced the pregnancy alongside a maternity shoot featuring the couple and Skylar, who reached up to place her hand on her mother’s belly in one image. “We couldn’t let Mother’s Day pass without sharing this personal news: we’re becoming parents again,” she captioned the photo.

In sharing the news, Faith explained that hearing Kenny sing to the baby during pregnancy became a meaningful part of the experience for her. “These soothing moments became so special to me that I asked him to create a children’s album inspired by them,” she said. That request became a full project for Lattimore, a children’s album titled Lullabies for You, described as a collection of soft, affirmation filled songs drawn from his growing family.
The first release from the album was Lattimore’s rendition of “Over the Rainbow,” which played beneath the couple’s pregnancy announcement. The accompanying cover art shows Lattimore holding Skylar as a newborn. Lattimore, a Grammy nominated R&B artist, has confirmed the new album on his social media, where his profile now points followers to Lullabies for You.
The gender reveal followed on May 15. Faith appeared in a light blue gown with puff sleeves alongside Lattimore, with Skylar in a matching blue tulle dress, to confirm the couple is expecting a boy. “Our hearts are about to get a little fuller,” she wrote.
The couple set the reveal to a new lullaby version of “For You,” Lattimore’s best known song. Originally released as a single in 1997, “For You” earned Lattimore a Grammy nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and reached number six on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The song has remained a staple at weddings and anniversaries for nearly three decades. For the album, Lattimore reworked the ballad into a lullaby for his son. Faith said the music had brought a sense of peace into their home and encouraged followers to pre-save the album and listen to the new lullaby version of “For You.”
According to the couple’s social media, the baby boy is due this month. “So excited and so ready for our baby to arrive,” Faith wrote. With a due date that close, the baby may already have arrived, though the couple had not announced a birth as of this writing. Faith Jenkins is known to many as a former prosecutor and television court show host, while Lattimore has built a nearly thirty year career in R&B and gospel music. Their second child will join big sister Skylar, who, fittingly, even contributed to the lullaby recordings.
God’s continued blessings to the Lattimore’s!
