The 2026 Met Gala is sure to have the beyhive buzzing. Beyoncé is set to co-chair this year’s event alongside Venus Williams, Nicole Kidman and Anna Wintour.

This will be Beyoncé’s first Met Gala appearance in a decade—she last walked the Met’s steps in 2016, when she attended the “Manus x Machina” gala in Givenchy Haute Couture.

The Met is a charity event and fundraiser for The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. It traditionally takes place at the beginning of May to mark the opening of the department’s spring fashion exhibition. This year’s  exhibition is titled, “Costume Art” and will take place May 4th.
